One of my all-time favorite quotes from Abraham is “nothing has gone wrong here.”
From a high vibration, I can easily accept that. From a low vibration, not so much.
In the midst of contrast, when it appears that things have definitely gone awry, I find these kinds of questions helpful:
*What is the wonderful thing that will come of this?
*What’s perfect about this?
*What’s the gift in this experience?
Recently in meditation, I received this message: It’s not even possible for things to go wrong.
Aligning with this message has come as a result of contrast. My sister has been struggling with addiction and mental health issues for years and she’s currently in a psychiatric hospital.
Although it is her journey, in some ways it’s my journey too. It’s my journey to care without pushing against what-is, without judging what’s going on with her as bad and wrong and shouldn’t be happening.
My sister is having the experience of being in a psychiatric hospital. Today I can say that without angst. Today I can trust that she and her Inner Being are on this journey together and that nothing has gone wrong here.
You may reject the idea that nothing has gone wrong in your life or in our world. You may be thinking of things too egregious to accept and I get that. It’s just that there’s a peace and a freedom that come when we can stop pushing against what-is.
Even if we can’t always get to this lofty perspective, perhaps we can accept that we live in a Universe of unconditional love and that life is always skewed in our favor.
And maybe we can embrace the concept that everything is working out for us – even when it doesn’t immediately appear that way.
That’s my intention anyway. Will you join me?
