When I begin coaching a new client, I ask them these questions:
*Do you believe you can have what you want?
*Do you expect to have what you want?
Believing you can have what you want presents a solid, empowering and essential foundation for conscious creation because . . .
You can do all the things. You can meditate, imagine, visualize, focus, think better feeling thoughts, even take massive action [as some propose]. You can stand on your head in a hundred different ways but, until you believe your dreams can and will and SHOULD come true, it can be a slow and frustrating journey.
If you believe something is impossible or extremely difficult for you, that will be your experience because the Universe is a mirror and can only reflect back to you what you believe to be true – wanted or unwanted.
The question then becomes – How can you believe something you don’t currently believe? The answer is simpler than you might think.
Because a belief is only a thought you keep thinking, you can literally decide what to believe. Then you keep thinking that thought until it becomes what you know for sure.
For example, in order to believe you can and should have what you want, you might practice thinking:
*Of course, I can have what I want.
*I’m supposed to have what I want.
Thinking these kinds of thoughts as a consistent mantra – especially just before sleep and just after waking – will install the new belief.
You might be saying – “Wait a minute, I can’t think something I don’t believe. It’s not true. It feels weird.”
It might feel odd at first but, if you want it enough to persevere, there will be a tipping point. You will shift from doubt to maybe to KNOWING.
Will you do it? Will you practice believing you can, will and should manifest your desires easily and joyfully? To me, it seems a small price to pay for creating a life of dreams come true.
To recap – Yes, you absolutely can have what you want IF you’re willing to practice believing you can.
When you believe it, then you will see it!
